Welcome to Creative Baker!

Hello everyone! My name is Cara and I am the author of Creative Baker! I would like to start by telling you all a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Chicago, Ill. I began baking six years ago. I taught myself how to bake and I first began baking birthday cakes. After baking my first few, I knew that baking was something I wanted to do as a hobby, maybe even for a career. I bake all of my work from scratch and decorate by hand. Here at the Creative Baker blog, you will find instructions and photos of all sorts of home-baked goods ranging from cakes to cupcakes galore! My work is far from ordinary.
